I found the photos on the Wisconsin Historical Society website, Historical Images.

The caption read "Three women receiving weapons training during World War II. Women are receiving training on the handling of a rifle.", on the bottom photo.

The top photo caption read "West High School Girls' Rifle Team, front to back, Betty Newton, Rita Bisbee, and Alice Pedracine, prepare for their first competitive meet., 1953".

There were a few other photos showing rifle teams.
