A friend of mine tried to clean his Model 60 following the procedure in the manual. He is new to the shooting scene. He kinked recoil spring while trying to reassemble the rifle. I was asked if I had any advise for him when gets the replacement spring from Marlin. I have never had one of these apart and can't figure out how to do it. Is there any one that has taken one of these apart that can offer any advice ?? I am a Garand guy and only own one Marlin which is a bolt gun.
