G19 Gen 4

Well, I bought myself a G19 Gen 4 this morning as a birthday present to myself, kinda... Anyway, I took the pistol to a friends range with swinging 6" plates at 25 yards and literally had a BLAST! The little pistol shoots GREAT, far better than I expected. I was shooting that new(ish) Federal 100 grain frangible training ammo and am guessing I only missed the plates maybe 6 times out of the 50 rounds I fired (my local shop has them on sale for 9.99 a box and I was not coming home before my visit, so this was perfect for my little outing before the rain set in). Anyway, I'm really impressed with how well the little pistol shoots.

Every time I handle one of my Glocks, I think of Dudley Moore in that movie where "institutionalized" people help him come up with advertising slogans and the one for Volvo applies perfectly to Glock: They're boxy, but good. :headbang:

Glocks kinda cut through the hype and BS that's so prevalent in the handgun world. You either like them, or you don't - and I do like my (15 year-old) G23.
