No, not the whole rifle, just the stock, with some metal! Holy hubba! I got to find the losing bidder! I got a few they can have at that price! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400152352009&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Um, isn't that backwards? The "losing bidder" is the one who "won" that auction right?
Me thinks somebody thought they were buying a carbine stock.

I bought a whole rifle for not much more. The stock was cut about the same length too. It's the one I'm getting the European walnut forearm for. It's Ebay though, I shouldn't be too suprised, I sold a set of 26mm Lyman Tru-Lock rings for over $300, then made a second chance offer to the #2 bidder, another $300! And the best part is, the winner thought it was the right size for a Lyman Alaskan. Sorry, that takes a 22mm, and I already shipped the 26. I'll bet they had an office party at Numrich!

Works in both directions. I troll oilers. Bought one for $.99 once. After researching what it was, was a fishing oiler and not a gun oiler, put it back up with the correct information on it. $156.
Last month's Krag deal of the month:

I've taken Trapdoor and '03 ones down to $5. I love eBay in spite of their nonsense. Such a stream of stuff. Mislisted and mistitled is best.
Best Krag deal was a bunch of "old cleaning rods" in the gun cleaning area. Perhaps 12 sets of Krag rods. Just over $10 for the lot. That was awesome.

Whoever said "patriotism is the last refuge of scoundrels" never heard of eBay.

wish I had the time to troll thru ebay like I used to,
picked up a box lot of freeland rifle rests, think it was around a dozen, for $25 shipped,
kept a few for myself, and sold the leftovers for ~20-25 each,
if you have the time, and the knowledge, you can find some gems,

Ain't that the truth - Not one, but TWO 26" BoOF rifles off GB in one seven month period, for a total of $1100 plus shipping and transfer fees. I am STILL pinching myself (and looking for number three)! Think I'll skip the $12,500 one, which has now been up for over a year. The second find still had the rare sights, and I'm still not absolutely positive that the first one was "wrong" as to stock and sights - but that IS much easier to say now. :-)
