Nothing about this has been batted around. Just a small article on a Chicago TV station

Guns aren't techically banned in Chicago. Registered guns are still allowed. Gun registration is however closed to all but LEO's and certain elite.
Besides, nobody needs a gun in Chicago. All you have to do is dial 9-1-1 and wait 20 minutes. Then a single car shows up and asks what the problem is.

No joke. I beat the guy with a #2 shovel and sent him running bloody 19 minutes before the Police responded to my son's 9-1-1 call. He was only 14 at the time and I told him to RUN according to the 'duty to retreat' law. Not that I was being law abiding mind you. I didn't want him hurt.
Didn't matter that he reported a break-in and there was a fight in progress. I won because he was trying to hurt us and I was pissed off enough that I was probably trying to kill him.

Just tuned in the the local radio station for the news. they ran a short piece on this issue which included a few words from a spokesman with the Brady bunch.
The Brady rep seemed to be more than a bit down at the mouth, saying that his side was facing a tough fight before SCOTUS. I found this to be a strange attitude as generally a spokesperson will be all smiles and postive, even when they're up to their eyeballs in trouble.

Another 5-4 ruling; we win. If we do win I wonder if it will have any bearing on Massachusetts crazy gun laws?:1948:
