Really nice photos of your 22 Hornet converted to the K Hornet. The 22 Hornet was a good cartridge but Kilbourn made it even better, just to find a 1903 or Model 70 still in the Hornet caliber is very difficult as most were converted.

I always liked the 224 Harvey Kay Chuk in the converted S&W K-22 and provided a cartridge to the Gun Digest to photograph for their 6th Edition of Cartridges of the World

Loy, I saw that one listed at auction. I would love to have it as I have 1922M1 number 20434 that is documented to have been sold to G & H. Mine looks almost identical to the subject rifle but is still in .22 LR cal. . The price on the .22 K Hornet is too rich for my blood. Someone pointed out to me that the rings on the G & H mount have been modified. I didn't notice that.

When I saw it, I thought of you. I think you had posted recently
about one like it, but for the life of me couldn't locate the post and
thought I would just show the pics and maybe generate some
discussion.

Thanks, :hello:
