About 2 years ago, my uncle gave me a bayonet to go with my Arisaka (see thread below). I finally decided to take a good look at it and take some pics. It came to me complete with the scabbard and leather frog. Blade marking indicates that it is a Nagoya Arsenal blade and it has a hooked quillon. Any idea when this was made? Anything else "interesting" about this bayonet?

From what I can find all that can be determined by the markings is that your bayonette was made at Nagoya between 1923 and 1945. There is a site that has a lot of stuff on Japanese bayonette markings. There is a good website for this but since I can't get the link to take you might just google Japanese Bayonet markings.

I would say 1937-1940. Fit finish and quality are high with leather frog and hooked quillion which indicates pre-1941. Straight tip scabbard with stamped steel loop for the frog buckle indicates rushed production so I would say after the invasion of China. Thats assuming they are an original set and the scabbard was never swapped.
