I received two of the Mark 1** IP rifles, one a BSA 1904 and this one. Both were upgraded to Mark 111. This rifle was upgraded in 1914, everything matches except the bolt and nosecap, even the fore-end matches. The barrel is not dated but has the same serial as the receiver, bore is exc.
