That muzzle blast has to be something else, have heard of a lot of reports of hearing loss coming back from Iraq due to firing the short barreled 16s' while clearing houses. Nice pic though.

Nope, not a 16 - that's an M14.

Yeah, I saw that, but being in the OFC means that sometimes you see something, type about it, and then another thought comes to mind, while you are typing, I need to go back to bed, damn rain woke me up too early this morning.

Wonder what the muzzle climb on that thing is like. I haven't been to the Springfield site for a while. Don't know all the bells and whistles they have for the M-14 now days. I'll bet the muzzle blast is considerable, since it looks like the standard flash suppressor.

That looks like a Sage Stock.

I have a Springfield Scout and the muzzle break is a killer from a muzzel blast standpoint. Gonna replace it with M14 flashhider if I can find one reasonan
bly priced. Like the P.C. incorrectness of the evil Bayonett lug. JB

Dang that stock looks HEAVY....
He has his hand on the magazine for support, but note the vertical grip a few inches forward of his hand. When employed, that grip allows shooter to fight muzzle climb.
