...of grenade launchers in these pics. Were they that common in the '50s or is this a special ( like engineers) unit? Chris

..don't have a spring on the end to keep the grenade from falling off nor grooved for range length. Chris

take a good look at the web belt of the soldier second from the right (first Picture)
I can see grooves on the GL (M7's)
can not make out if there are springs
Doesn't get better then lockbars and leather slings!!
