View Full Version : Jeff, can you set up a 12 step program here to help guys get away from SMLE's & such?
Those programs have been successful in helping problem drinkers, gamblers & crack heads to regain their lives, could it not also work to help those poor lost sheep who have strayed to the dark side of firearms, i.e (to wit from a 1/2 wit) owning & shooting SMLE's?
I feel with proper help from those who really care, that SMLE fans could be weaned into owning some better, stronger, more accurate &reliable type of bolt rifle, like a Mannlicher Cacarno or Lebel before transitioning them to Garands, M1A's/M14 clones, 1903's, 1917's, M1 Carbines or Win model 70's (controlled feed only, pre 64 style), SKS, SVT's, Mauser 98's etc.
be safe , enjoy life, journey well

Mr. Gimp,
I'm afraid you are barking up the wrong tree with this idea. It's like saying at an A.A. meeting don't drink Rye but it's OK to drink rum, vodka or gin.
I have to wonder why you would take away tastiest drink and only allow the inferior stuff to be consummed. Really the result will be the same but you will hate yourself after.
Nope, my as well stick to the good stuff.:evil6:
KTK
Try a shock collar and give your wife the controller. Let the fun begin. :evil6:
I have Ken & JB's home address, think there's still a TriTronics dog collar or 2 around here from when I had bird dogs, hmmmmmmmm an interesting cure........ have the ladies set them on high...............

I am afraid his Lee Enfield addiction is hopeless, just as mine is. While I have dabbled in Swiss Vetterli's, Rolling blocks, Noisey maggots, and even K31's i always go back to Enfields.
Once hooked, you STAY hooked. though I have also digressed into Sniders and Martinis. (just an earlier form of the addiction before progessing to the hard stuff.
Quite right John, the LE addiction is hopeless!

That's what I mean john, sometimes this horrible disease progresses to folks then buying FAL's, Brens,Webbly's & such, and the next thing you know they've forsaken strong accurate rifles like Lebels, Cacarnos & are marching in formation down Main St USA or Victoia Ave Canada carrying them.
I think we can trust their ladies to not use the shock collars if the guys touch the remote control for the TV, or fail to take out the trash etc. In fact all 5 people in the USA & Canada that like SMLE's(and admit it in public) are generally regarded as not being beyond redemption. Few have more than 1 or 2 bumperstickers mentioning Diane Feinstein, Janet Reno, Harry Reid, Hillary in sex acts that are nearly impossible......... generally with various species of animals & fruits & vegetables.
John, Ken the K, Art, Jb, take the pledge now to foreswear this terrible curse & remember that each day is a new beginning. Instead of picking up an SMLE, try handling a Browning A5, or an LC Smith, you can beat this if you try, & Congress can get rid of the national debt & foreswear raising campaign money as their primary occupation too, I believe................in you & them......

I prefer herbal products as they are safer. These Indian ones are great. My friends were curious what happened that I lost some weight and look joyful. When I revealed my secret they also decided to use priligy uk (http://priligy.me/).
Dudes, this service is good! It is my third order. This time it is generic proscar (http://proscartab.com/buy_proscar.html) and I have almost fine!
