Since I only collect things that have a U.S. on them I know very little about the one No.4 MK2 I have. UF 55 A20148 with a Parker Model 8/53 rear sight, all matching, mint. Shoots dimes. What do I have, where was it made?:icon_salut:

Post Korean War manufacture at ROF Fazakerley. (near Liverpool)
UF 55 translates to: United Kingdom-Fazakerley, 1955. These rifles were surplused off from War Reserves new-in-wrapper in the early 1990's.
They are considered the best No4's built, although certain collectors stand by their postwar LongBranch rifles over these. Both are equal IMO and they're both capable of the accuracy you described.

In the early 90's I did buy two of these in the wrapper for like $69 and then the price shot up so I sold em. I understand the No2 has the improved trigger group support to the receiver. Thanks for the info.

You sold them too soon.:icon_lol:
"...improved trigger group support to the receiver..." Among other things, the trigger was moved from the trigger guard to the receiver. Have a look here. http://www.enfieldrifles.ca/ri11a.htm

Damn they are ugly guns, but if I had to carry a bolt action a No2 would be the one over an 03A3.
