100221002310024I use to see the Brinks Guards with these grips on their S&W revolvers years ago. There is not any zip code on with the company address - pre 1964

Is there a brand name? Merschon? Just a guess. Nick

These grips have the name Duel Duty molded in the right side. On the bottom of the door is Pat. 2509553 Gary Ind. This patent was issued in May 1950

Our brothers here that are clever with computers[more so than I] can probably trace the Pat. No. and find the answer. Nick

I didn't get into guns heavy until the mid '70s. I remember these for sale then , or one's just like them. Thought it was a neat idea , always have a reload handy , but boy , those things were chunky and uncomfortable , much worse than the "wonder-nines " being introduced.

Neat idea but kinda ugly like the speed feed stocks for shotguns
