View Full Version : ID .30 Cal Spam Can Ammo

I have a can of cal .30 in 8rd clips in bandoleers, I tired the web to see if i could ID it, basically yr of manufacture, but couldn't find a helpful site. My question is does anyone know of a site that can help me ID the ammo by the LOT number. I guess if not then opening the can is next.
Lot TW 40951
192 Cartridges
Cal .30 Ball M2
8rd Clips
Bandoleers

The first lot number for non corrosive primers from TW was lot number 19632 dated 12-50. So that lot number is quite a bit lower then yours.
