What would be the current value of a new never installed 1917 barrel marked JA?

I've had this a long time but no longer wish to warehouse it. Need a ballpark value for it.

Saw one sell a couple of months ago for $160.

I thought that was good deal for the buyer.

The barrel in question was still in the wrap but it had been opened at both ends.

The last one I bought was some eight years back and I paid just over $100. The party selling it had it labeled as a 1903 Springfield barrel. I believe a fair price today would be $150-$200. You won't have any problems selling it since they have become scarce.
