I'm on the road a lot, at least once a month for 3-4 days on average for my job. Needless to say, I live out of a suitcase and eat out for all my meals during these trips. To amuse myself, and to assuage the boredom and missing my family, I've developed a little game.

Whenever I'm at the bar or restaurant, I always try to have the channel changed to FOX News Channel. Especially at the hotel, I ALWAYS make sure the TV in free breakfast area is tuned to FOX, as I am an early riser and usually the first one there.

This will annoy hard core liberal sycophants and Obongo worshippers no end. It doesnt work that well in places like Atlanta or Fayetteville, but when I go to New York or Massachusettes the look on some of the patrons faces is pure hillarity. I've actually had a few snide comments passed under my victims breath about being a "brain dead neo-con" to which I've burst out laughing and made them even angrier. Great fun! :D

That can work to get rid of unappreciated guests at home too, or it might open a welcome conversation from an unexpected source.
