Thanks for the post but it is a pure waste of time time to post anything related to the Soviet or early Russian items on this forum - you are better received on gunboards

I, for one, wish this section of the CSP had more traffic. Always interested in old photos, rifles, minutiae. Thanks for posting.

Great picture. Just got a 1943 long version.(second one down in photo) Got from big 5 for $110. The brown paint comes off on my hands, but a beautiful rifle barely used or un-used (I think). Came with a lot of xtra stuff. Tom

Why do they have to stamp the importer's name on receiver?
