Slightly OT, a quirky black-humor movie about a quirky Country cop in Ireland who is assigned to work with a U.S. FBI man who is black. Language features liberal use of the "F" word, which rolls off of the Irish tongue freely. Brendan Gleeson plays the Irish cop, whose attitude is best expressed by his insistence that he goes ahead and takes a day off rather than help the FBI man initiate his investigation. There are some funny cross-cultural jokes; the FBI man is surprised that many Irish in Western Ireland speak Gaelic, but not English. And it is possible to order nachos and guacamole in Ireland now, and Irish people do wonder what Billy Jo McAlister was throwing off the Talihtchee bridge. An Irish boy turns in an IRA weapons cache to him, and Gleeson sells it back to the IRA. But three guns are missing. Gleeson and the FBI man put them to good use in a final climactic gun battle with the cocaine
smugglers. FBI guy, on being handed the ex-IRA AK, asks a question seldom asked in movies, "You got any more ammo for this thing?"
