A local shop has this http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=248984273 and I was wondering what it is that has the price bid up so high, I have a few Japanese rifles a keep my eye out for these rifles but didn't pursue this one. Anyone care to educate me? Thank you.

This is believed to be a post war Chinese Nationalist Army modification.
The Kanji on the receiver signifies that the rifle was converted to 7.9 caliber. It's not a rare rifle but a variation that some T-99 collectors feel that they need a copy of. Hope this info is of some help.
