I got married one time in a Japanese coastal gun emplacement. Unfortunately WW2 lasted longer than that marriage or maybe I should say luckilly instead of unfortunately....LOL

well we all do those things,in the heat of the moment,iam a pacifc war , writer,plus some frontier stuff during the 1980s, iam seeking any info on guam and eniwetok atoll, there were major battles there as well,tho not in grand scale as most other islands had, i also have kin folk who died there, so its personal as well for me ,yeh any thing you can find out about the 22nd marines and 1st provisional brigade would be of grat help. let me know thanks squires..
