iam squires, an old duck now, i just found this site and i think its very good, iam a history buff of ww2, the pacfic war,, and writer' i come from a long line of old, family,from the east coast,,my kin go back to the civil war and beyond, most buried in mass and vermont,tho my uncle and older brother are buried on the' islands,kia, the , canal' and guam' battles, my mother was very young when she had kids, age12' and 12 kids' i came last and at a much later time in her life, she had a passle of us. iam the last to survive. as i said elsewhere,iam the last of my family,there are of course distant cousins and the like but none from my own branch out side of my own kids, and both my sons,well,thats a nuther story;;
