Picked up a srtaight handled bolt body today.
Has small gas hole and 03 ext collar. Only mark I can find is an "S" on the back of the bolt handle. Can someone offer an ID for it?

Are there any markings on any side of the safety lug, halfway up the bolt "body"?

No other marking than the "S" on the rear of the bolt handle.

If a "straight" handle, I would agree with Ed, a very early RIA or SA.
