I have a era marked p14 that has been demilled by sticking a pin through the barrel, the rest of the rifle looks to be in decent shape. I was wondering if the barrel can be repaired, or are replacement, new, used barrels available in 303, a conversion to 3006, or just get rid of it. I would have to have any barrel work done for me. What are the options on parts availability, or what do you suppose it is worth as it is. Thanks for any answers.

new barrel, and bolt, replace the rear handguard, conversion to 30-06 would be costly...
id be a interetsed buyer if the price is right and the other parts are in working order.

A few years back I picked up a p-14 barrel with the intent of restoring one of those DP rifles but the prices on them went up enough that by the time I found one I couldn't fustify the expence of doing it ,($225+ for a rifle, + shipping, +dealer fee,+ gunsmith cost). Some day I need to dig the barrel out and sell it.

You could always have Criterion/Krieger cut you a new barrel but it wouldn't be cheap, over two hundred last time I looked and its been quite awhile since I checked.

Douglas barrels is another option, 250-300 for a commercial taper,
probably a bit more if you want it turned to the proper military taper, front sight install etc etc
