Carbine makes AR shooters take a second look

This past Halloween my gun club had a Zombie shoot. A run and gun fun type of shoot engaging Zombie type targets at different distances in different types of engagements. The score was made up of shot placement and time. My daughter along with myself shot this match which had no less that one mag change at each engagement. I opted for my DCM NM A2 AR while my daughter shot it with my M1 Carbine. I took 4th in the field of 35 shooters while my daughter took 5th. The top 3 places were AR A4 models. All of the AR shooters were impressed on how well my daughter shot the course with that Carbine.

he used a M1 Carbine as did a second person. The rest use AR-15's.

The M1 had like three stoopages while the AR's were jamming left&right.

Overall scoring by instructors the M1's were first & second.
