I found a Winchester bayonet for the Pattern 14 rifle at a show recently for $60. It came with a British WWI-era scabbard. The bayonet was produced in August 1916. It is in good condition at best -- it has that sort of gray pebbled finish from what I assume was a rearsenal job, but at least all markings are legible. The grips and screws are okay.

Anyway, I am wondering if it has more value than similar-condition Remington-made bayonets for the Pattern 14 rifle. I have seen quite a few Remington-made ones over the past few years, but I think this is the first Winchester I've come across. Any ballpark ideas on value?

Thanks in advance for any replies....

A lot fewer winchester bayonets were made. You can watch/search prices on e-pay to get an idea for value.

bampa, thanks for the pics.i think at $60 you did good ,the the inspecter side is pretty worn, hard to see.
you should be able to double your money at the least should you whant to sell. Ws are by far harder to find than REM.
if you want to sell, give me a PM. ---CHARLES
