I have a Unertl 20X Scope with an ring that needs a scew. The screw that tightens the scope mount to the base on the barrel is broken. Does anyone know where I may find one?

I saw a guy at the Chantilly gun show that had boxes of scope screws, Unertl bases, etc. I will see if I can find his business card. If I can locate it, I will contact you by PM. If you can't locate one, save the screw and send it to Steve Earle to see if he can make one for you. There is a guy on the net who sells used Unertl's, and he may have one. Link below.

For these kind of scopes yes. Unertl was bought and moved to Las Vegas many years ago IIRC.

Evans Obsolete Screws is 1st class.

He can make about anything and has a lot of specs to work from.

Gary's in/near Ft Worth, TX, a/c (817). Mo's in Brookfield, CT, I think it's a/c (203). Another guy who might be able to help you with that screw (OEM) is German Salazar in Phx, AZ, reachable via riflemansjournal.blogspot.com

Try Parson's scope service in Ross Ohio. I have sold them Unertl parts and had them work on mine.

I had them replace the same screw, Good luck

Parsons works on rings/mounts also. They should have one.

Got the screw repaired at 10X Gunsmithing ( http://www.10xcustomguns.com ) by Bill Jenkins. Then sent the scope to Parsons for new crosshairs and an overall clean up. Both do great work. Got the scope back a couple of weeks ago.
