US marked Rem 11

I have a rem mod 11 US Property marked Shot gun, both the receiver and barrel are stamped.. It must have been a stop gap gun because it had scrolling on the receiver like a hunting gun would have.. and it has a 3 round magazine tube. I haven't seen one like it before.. it has a long threaded bolt and not a mag tube cap more common to the A5's and mod 11's Ive seen.. B2B

You have the "Sportsman" version which was also bought by Ordnance. It came in the riot version as well as the standard version. Some of the standard length barrel guns were used to teach aerial gunners how to lead their target, and some of the riot length went to defense plants as guard guns.

Yeah it seems that is what I've got.. It's a good shooter.. and I picked it up cheap... B2B
