The Remington has an HS barrel, the others have maker correct barrels and excellent bores. They all shoot well. I recently acquired a P-14 with nice bore and volley sight intact but haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. Just to be fair one of the matches won to receive the trophy was won with a SC 03A3.

You will like the P-14. Who made it? I have one of each maker of P-14's and 1917's. They are my favorite guns.

It is a Remington. I really like the idea of .303 brass lasting a while in a gun....

Get a neck sizing die. It easier on the brass

Nice pics and target. Something special about those M17s, all three manufacturers.

Not checked this forum for a while. I feel obligated to post mu five 1917s. They are by far my favorite rifles over my Garands, 1903s & 03-A3s. So of you might have seen this pics posted elsewhere but I'm proud of my five children. From to to bottom: Winchester, Eddystone, Eddystone, Remington and Remington.
