Hey everyone! Just wanted to say hey! I found the Forum a few months ago when I bought my first M1 after years of wanting one. Have to say that although my shooting experience with rifles is limited, I have a hard time believing I'll ever find one I enjoy shooting and oogling at as the Garand.

Looking forward to learning more about the rifle and having some good conversation!

Howdy from Texas. A M1 is not complete without a bayonet, M1 helmet and other odds and ends that go with her.

The bayonet is on the list of things to get. Waiting for the Tulsa Gun Show in April to pick one up.
