View Full Version : Navy rank
What is a LCDR in the navy---Lt. Comander?
That is correct. Lieutenant Commander paygrade O-4 equivalent to a Major in the Army/Marines/Air Force.
Thank you. I just found out my mother's father (married twice) had a son (second marriage) that had that rank in the Navy and is buried at Arlington. Guess that would be a step cousin, if there is such a thing. Only met my grandfather once when very young.

Genealogically speaking, the half brother of your mother would be your uncle.

I have a cousin that is his own uncle.
And you're not even from Arkansas.

I'd like to find the words to "I am my own Grandpa". Funny as he**. I heard it at a dinner ranch outside of Colorado Springs years ago. Anyone know it?

Flying W Ranch. I live about four blocks from their entrance and go to church with one of their "Wranglers".
I attended a BMW motorcycle national rally there many years ago. I've never again seen so much food served so fast.
Got that right! They can serve 700 people in less than 20 minutes.

Of course! What was I thinking---not!

Bill, I used to live in Manitou. Too expensive to live there now.

Thank you! I thought calculus was confusing.

Manitou is a quaint little tourist trap full of hippies and tree huggers. I hardly ever venture in there anymore. I do spend quite a bit of time in Old Colorado City however and it's rapidly getting to be more like Manitou.
