Head Stamp ID

I shot 40 rounds in my M1A with a head stamp of : B81 RIMI 7.62.
It is berdan primed with a brass case and copper clad lead bullet.
I bought it years ago in sealed plastic bags. The shells are in 20 round boxes with the same ID as on headstamp.
Anyone know what it is ?

Are the rounds non-corrosive and are they safe to fire in a M1A ?

Yep. Non-corrosive. Past reports have been that it's very good ammo. No problems in the M1A or M1 chambered for 7.62.
