Signing on again

I have been away for a while. Couldn’t get back on with my old password so I ‘re-upped. ’ Anyway, still stuck in mid CA. Retired but now I have more time to shoot my M1’s, etc. (now, if someone could invent a drop-in .22 LR kit). I must wean myself or the ammo just flies away (down range). My favorite is a .308 Roland Beaver built Tanker with Scout rail and a converted BM59 Nigerian pistol grip stock. These stocks rock! Someone should make a replacement stock like these. A Holbrook device makes a range day a lot easier. ;-)

Forgot to say that a few years ago, I went by "Mike B." I have a small gaggle of M1s, and other military and civy long and short guns. My most recent is another .308, this one a Ruger GSR and a recently obtained Leupold scope.

I was also one of those old pesky Marine Sgts ('66-'70) when we had a lot of us in SE asia. Since then, I have been LEO and retired a few years ago. Now I get to work with my stuff and pay more attention to the other half. Life is not so bad.
