stripped, and refinished that RR pictured last week.
things i had to replace.
Grips, not perfect, but real GI Keys grips.
gripsafety, tried to make the cast one work, no luck, this one is original finish, and match my finish pretty darn close.
sear and disconect, the one in it was a POS aftermarket, 10 pound trigger.
cleaned up a GI set, down to 4 pounds, with little creap.
im going to scrub the bore as best i can, it was parkerized inside, and etched a bit, some bore paste may do the trick.
the lettering was ok, but washed a little from the other guy, blasted very light, and stayed off the letters.
ramp was rough, now polished the way it should.
over all its an improvement, will see what the customer says..i told him, if he,s not happy, its free.
