View Full Version : National Match faker's dream
I think I might buy this just to keep it out of an evil doers hands!!
Yes in deed, hide it in your safe. Lot of reponsibilty with that item.
Be sure the bolt you mark has an R on it!!
Marine A5 Sniper
That is a rare item within itself, worth collecting. I have one, but I have never used it. I'll wager it will go for over $100.
that is not the toool used for marking rifles, bolts and parts by SA or RIA..
heres the real deal, when i found this at auction, it still had a Rock Island location tag,
this one really works..a 6 volt battery might kinda work.
Remarking the bolts, which appears to be a common practice on the 1922 series Springfield Rifles, is just a little more deceiving than swapping parts to make a S-C 1903A3 or other military firearm appear to be "correct". Just my opinion.
