There is nothing I can do about the slogan because I did not have it protected. We called the company and they just blew us off. That has been our slogan for over 23 years but it is what it is.
Oh and while I'm at it...yes we are still in business. You won't believe how many calls we received after someone released that since the loss of my wife Kenya I had shut down. Kenya would have wanted us to continue and we have.

I saw that too, and it makes me very leery of that outfit, even though they apparently are based out my old home town.
Dean not only is life too short for our guns but our family. My youngest whom is 10 now as I think you know had heart surgery and then came down with type 1 diabetes which she has a pump for insulin as she will die without it and the 5 or more needles a day was getting to be much. We have a constant worry about her passing and check her ever night usually by 3:00 am but are up with her many nights due to highs or the worst Lows.
We moved to our dream home once my job allowed the residency rule to go [28 years later ] and my wife came down with Breast Cancer. She had surgery last month and is now on medication for 5 years. She is 49 years old. She went through it with a very close childhood friend who lives by us also and had the same surgery 3 days later. We look at it as just another day and do not sulk over anything. Not enough time anymore to worry as we say.
Live in general is way to short and the things we love can be snatched up so fast. I am still keeping you in my thoughts and prayers Dean. Rick B
Rick, your wife & daughter will be in our prayers tonight. My youngest son has Type 1 Diabetes, several years ago, he missed a sore on his lower leg & it went septic they amputated his leg below the knee. He has returned to being a roofer & still rides his Harley....... Make sure she gets into the habit of doing a full body check each day for scratcs/sores & then treat them.......
Father, we ask a full healing for Rick's wife, her friend & his daughter, & to bring the peace of your love upon their house & Dean's, giving them your strength, we ask this in your Son's name.
Amen.
Rick and Dean, my heart is heavy for both of you. Sometimes we find life is not what we expected. All we can do is ask for God's grace and continue living. God bless you both.

How bad to you want to protect your slogan - - - you don't have to "officially" copyright or trademark something to be protected. You can obviously show "use" for 22 years - it is yours.
IF you want - go to a GOOD trademark attorney - they can send a cease & desist letter for a couple hundred dollars - then up to you whether to pursue.

It's flattering. Nearly everyone(around here)knows where it came from. Politicians and Hollywood actors(just saying)love to get their name in the paper, for whatever the reason. A letter of reprimand is better than no mail at all(something like that).

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Rick,
My oldest son 7 is type 1, we found out right after he got his MMR2 vaccine. Got the shot on a Monday and then went 4 days straight drinking like he was on a dessert island. Saturday morning we were in the doctors office and they sent us to the ER. Same set up..I do the midnight check, my wife does the 3am ...we got him on a medtronic pump after 6 months...helped us get things under control somewhat. Still have highs and lows...we got the sensor from medtronic in August...not so sure about it. Get a lot of info and sometimes it's way off. Tonight BS test showed 236, but the sensor was showing 145. Praying for you and your daughter...taking it one day at a time. Oh yeah btw..Dr.'s, nurses, etc...swear it had nothing to do with the MMR2 shot....they all try to cover up. I contacted a Dr. the Govt used to go after the Drug companies in the early 90's to create the Catastrophic Immunization fund....he sent me medical journal articles which showed the link between the mumps and type 1 diabetes...3 years to the day after a mumps outbreak, you have a type1 diabetes outbreak. He said the MMR2 triggered his diabetes, and that there was an underlying situation that if not triggered by the MMR2 at that time, might never had been. Oh well.....fight on. My drugstore bills are shocking and I get 80% back..but the numbers are high. Praying for your daughter and your wife and family. We've spoken about stock repair and ID in the past. My best to you.

Thanks everyone . Dave yep sounds just like us. Daughter had heart surgery and they said the stress may have set it off. Shame they know there is no known reason for it but thwart any responsibility.
We had no luck with the CGI but the Medtronics pump has saved her so many shots during the day. We are constantly making adjustments and it will continue besides we haven't gotten to the Woman years that are going to throw everything off.
Here is a video we did last year to show what she does ever three days. They are tougher than us aren't they. Rick B
