Between rainstorms I went to my gun club today and was pleased to find myself the only person out there.

I ran some assorted com bloc ammo through my WASR 10 AK 47 clone and was very satisfied, as usual with the results. The rifle has a Russian mfg PK-01V 1.5 mil red dot sight in quick detachable a K-VAR mount on it.

My club has set up some gongs on the 200 yard range so I set up a Transtar II sillouette target at 100 yards to get some practice engaging multiple targets at various ranges. Excpet for 1 flyer I was able to hold the 4"X5" "X" ring on the sillouette and was making the gongs ring with some regularity. The ammo was a mix of Monarch (Academy's proprietary com bloc 123 gr HP) and Wolf FMJ.

That red dot sight makes a huge difference and I really like the 1.5 mil version, it makes hitting at past 100 yards a whole bunch easier.

Wow, hitting targets intentionally with an AK...You are going to ruin it for most of the people who love AKs....LOL Sounds to me like Kalishnakov would approve of your practice.
