R 42 Bolt Question

During what period was the R 42 bolt used.?

Not sure. Is it a Remington? Most Springfields have just one letter and one number with a couple of exeptions. You can dig through vishooters bolt steel code numbers.

It is a Remington bolt. As I recall, it was used in late 1942.
