Off hand, I don't see anything wrong with yours. Can you tell me the serial number?

No, there was nothing to restore: it is in like new condition with all correct parts...

I am way past these situations on M-1 carbines, but it happened to me too, long time ago though...

Notice how the receiver was milled to where the logo and the serial number barely went on.
It must have been a bring back as it was completely original.This one was found at a garage sale, and I bought it from the finder for $250.
Oh yeah, that was 25 years ago.
