Bought a Winchester 1917 while on leave serial 266058 blued (well blue going brown) all win but the cocking piece which is "E" 8-18 W barrel a little dark but nice I dinged it for $475 and change! I bought it at a shop in Aurora CO found ANOTHER! Winchester 1917 blued gun all matching for a little more in Lakewood CO also located several Eddy's Remington's in various states of condition with various barrels and finishes the prices have come way down on all of these I LOVE IT!! I guess with the economy people are turning them loose I've seen some great stuff lately and at reasonable prices as well
