Well, that's not what the GCA FAQ says:

"All memberships renew on September 1. A reminder notice is included with the Fall issue of the GCA Journal every year."

I looked through my check register all the way back to Jan '09 and there's no entry for "GCA Renewal" so either it wasn't in the Summer or my CRS is kicking in :sleepy2:

I stepped in it. Sent in mine w/o the proper form. It was returned and now I have to wait for the paperwork to flow thru the system and hope I don't miss an issue or have CMP say I have no membership and am unable to process my sale. :eusa_wall:

The renewal form is available from the GCA website. It is in PDF format, or here it is as a JPG. HTH

I just hope I get one this year. I have already renewed my membership, but GCA has missed my fall issue the last two years running.

I renewed when I ordered my "Best of the GCA..." book back in the summer. This thread prompted me to find the card, but having that renewal form, which Liam posted, should help a bunch of folks.

My form was in the summer issue, I renewed and ordered the second issue of The Best...... I just looked at my card and it said Exp. date Sept 2010.

After two rejections for "account is over quota" my email to The GCA finally made it through. I got this back:

"The Fall '09 issue of the GCA Journal has just recently been released. You should be receiving your copy shortly.

Renewal forms are sent out in the Summer edition of the GCA Journal, not the Fall edition. You should have received a copy with your Fall '09 GCA Journal. I have also attached a copy to this email. You can always find a copy of our renewal form on our website at www.thegca.org under the "Supply Shack" tab."

That explains why I couldn't find my Fall issue.

Still can't help but notice that the FAQ says renewals are in the Fall and so does the second paragraph of the email :icon_scratch:

Oh well, I guess I'll just use the form they sent and chalk it up to CRS.

I did the same and ordered both of the Best of the GCA books when renewing. Well worth the money IMO.
