Sssshhhhh!...... It is not a named "assault weapon", it does not have two of those "bad" things, and the N.J. dealer assured me it was fine (this week!).

Very nice.
I finally took mine to the range last week and zeroed it. Shot off sandbags. Once it zeroed, I put the bipod down and group moved up 6". (100 yards).
Just noticed this was post # 308. Seems appropriate.
What rifle ranges in NJ are left? I used to shoot at Delran Junior Marksmen, but the local Dems have suceeded in closing that range.

Association of New Jersey Rifle and Pistol Clubs still has their great range at Cherry Ridge, Highland Lakes, NJ.

The zero will shift if you shoot it with the bipod off a hard surface. Put it on grass or soft ground, and it should shoot the same.

Also, to add what hagar said, remove the flash hider for any range work. It is detrimental to accuracy!
