Anybody out there have a Power Pistol load for using a 230 grain Round Nose lead bullet (.45 ACP)? I can find loads for jacketed bullets, but not for lead...

Had 4.0grs VV N310 with a 230grs H&N RN bullet, good load (759fps).

Thanks Gunner,
Only problem with using the VV N310 is, that you can't find it around here. I can find power pistol, unique, and the AA powders. I was hoping to find a power pistol load for use with lead bullets. I hate to use Unique due to it being so dirty.

Below are links w/ loads in Handloads.com and Alliant's own web site data. There are some Power Pistol loads there. Of course you can order the VV powders, but they are pricey. Power Pistol is like $40 less for 4lb. For me, Bullseye is optimum, and 231 and Titegroup are good which are cleaner. Dirty doesnt bother me much in .45, but to each their own. Good luck, and of course verify all loads with a manual and be working up.

4.5 grains of Bullseye works extremely well out of my Colt. Scary accurate and fairly light. Knocks a bowling pin off the table though.
