It looks like one of the 520-30 clones that Stevens made for other other companines. Apparently, some of these clones were used by Stevens to fulfill it's military contract during WW2. But that gun started out as a riot gun. Someone has put a Vietnam era Winchester Model 1200 bayonet adaptor/heat shield on it. It's been refinished too.

Thanks for the note and this one threw me...can't find Model 30 except for a Ward shotgun which could be a contract ...as an altered riot gun what would be a value range since it's not WWII issue? Ed

It was probably a Wards Western Field Model 30 shotgun (or receiver) made for Wards by Stevens. It seems that Stevens may have used some of these receivers that were on hand to build into Military shotguns for the Govt' during WW2. So it is a WW2 shotgun.

The fact that it's been refinished and has the bayo adaptor added kills its value. My guess would be it's only worth a few hundred dollars at most.

heatshield looks to be from a 1200 Win, and the gun is a riot converted,
Trench guns have the martial markings on oppisit sides, riots have them in the same side.
