Recieved this from a friend in the U.K.

Two different Doctor's offices;

Two patients limp into two different medical clinics with the same complaint. Both have trouble walking and appear to require a hip replacement.

The FIRST patient is examined within the hour, is X-rayed the same day and has a time booked for surgery the following week.

The Second patient sees his family doctor after waiting 3 weeks for an appointment, then waits 8 weeks to see a specialist, then gets an X-ray, which isn't reviewed for another week, and finaly has his surgery scheduled for 6 months from then.

Why the different treatment for the two patients?

The FIRST is a Golden Retriever
The SECOND is a Senior Citizen

This is what the messiah thinks we should have!

We have family in Canada. Believe me that we do NOT want their "health care" system! I know of one who flew to South Africa for a procedure for his hearing. He said that he met many on the plane who were traveling for similar!!! :eek:

My wife has family in Canada. Her Aunt waited about 2 years for her hip replacement. She went from some pain at the start to being in a wheelchair by the time she had the surgery! I want that! Gimme, gimme, gimme!

The answer's simple:
Forget the Doctor - go see a vet., that is if you don't mind
being kept in a cage until the operation.
