I have a new set of CMP wood. Everything went well but the trigger lock up. Using a pretty worn lug guard I can't get her to lock up. She is tight. The end of the trigger and the latch on the guard overlap about a quarter inch not under pressure. When I push to lock her I have to push really hard and the guard latch seems well foreward of where it should be. Locks up easy in my old trash stock.

Ron..........Use the fitting guide I put together shown in the photo. This was Gus Fisher's notes and has always helped me. It's really hard to tell what's going on without having it in one's hands. Sounds like it's OK, just a real tight lock up.

On the lighter side of things, shooterm1 sez he has new 'how to' books on Boyd's stocks. I'm sure he will sell you one if you really get stuck.
