Will as set of wood: forearm and butt stock for a No.4 Mk 2 fit my Long Branch No.4 Mk1*

IF so: will it look right or be half a##ed looking and will it funtion correctly for accuracy purposes?

Yes, it will fit, but the reverse is not true without modification due to the way the trigger is hung. There should be no problem with accuracy.

Yep, but it may not be the same colour. If that matters to you.

The Mk2 well fit the MkI. Much of the Mk2 wood is beech or birch and much lighter in color.

A quick question. I seem to recall if I use the Mk2 wood that I will have some empty holes in the forearm. Is that right. ?

Yes you will have an empty hole on each side of the forearm. The Mk2 uses a screw, where the Mk1 had rivets.

Actualy a nut and bolt. I would suggest the local hobby shop if it is missing, as they have some really tiny ones used on models.
