On the news, 17 April, they whined that the "gun show loophole" would have prevented the Virginia State killings. That had NOTHING to do with how he got his guns, purchasing them from a registered dealer and All the checks required by state and federal law had been completed.
If the whiners at ABC want to blame someone, they should try the kind hearted judge that "suggested" that the killer get psychiatric help instead of committing him, despite overwhelming evidence from faculty and other students that he was mentaly deranged.
But then what can one expect from a organization of anti gun libtards?
After searching a bit , I found a website to contact them, and posted basicaly what I stated here, for all the good THAT will do.

When I usually make a suggestion I usually get the response... Why don't you do it? (at least with my friends) But since you seem well motivated perhaps you might take a look at the FCC web site. I don't think a broadcaster can deliberately broadcast a false story. Maybe the FCC has a place where you can lodge a complaint. I hope I haven't wasted your time.

Do you recollect a documentary about trucks catching fire several years ago? Seems they had to kinda HELP those trucks to catch fire with some accelerant.
They do fudge a bit with those broadcasts. Aw hell, they LIE.

I remember watching that expose' thinking, "Wow' what a fun job to snag!"

Didn't a few people lose their jobs and weren't they fined for that?

i live in a state that , that supposedly closed the gunshow loophole....
in effect. all sales at gunshows private and otherwise will get a background check...amend, .22, passed a few years ago. exempt is C&R and guns made before 1898.
how this works...if you as a private collector want to get a table and sell some of your guns at a show,.say. a buyer wants the 1911 you have on your table, you agree on a price.
you, walk up to the front, or a dealer thats doing backgorund checks. and fill out a sellers paperwork, the buyer pays 10.00 and fills out said paper work to puchace a gun from said dealer..
30 mins to 2 hours later hes approved, during this time, the dealer doing the back ground, holds your pistol..and give it back to you, with a paper saying he passed a check,
then and only then can you take moneys from the buyer and give him the pistol..
heres a catch.
say, this buyer cant pass a background check, for whatever reason...the dealer has YOU do a background check to get your own pistol back...thats right, you have to do a check to get your pistol that you own,. back from the dealer that was doing the check..reason??he logs it into his book as a transfer, and the only way he can long it out is to another FFL or to have you do paper work and a background check on your gun...sux dont it??
gets better.
lets say, your a collector that does a few shows a year, and you have a large collection.. and lets say you sell...mmmm 100 guns in 2 shows? maybe more???well, the ATF gets to see all the transactions done at every show, so now,,.your on the list of possible dealers without a lic, bunch,,they come knocking at your door, or worse,. take 3 tables of guns as you set up at the next show...yes,, that really happened, the collector did get his guns back,,,,2 years later, and a lawer got rich...
and right now,.,as we type,,,,they are putting together a bill that makes that a nation wide law... and you can bet,...it will pass.....
when Co, was putting this law together after the highschool shootings,,,the NRA just sat back and let it pass, the so called pro gun Gov, that i voted for, signed it as soon as the thing came to his desk.. i was so mad, i changed from Republican to Libratarian the next day.
pushed by the same group thats now, protesting Starbucks for them letting Concealed carry in the stores...
i am a member of the NRA, and without them we are toast...but they really missed the boat when they let Co, pass that law,,,as you know the ones trying to pass this new bill will say,,,gosh it works so well in Colorado,..lets do it nation wide...
heres what that law has done in Co,
its all but ruined gunshows, you dont see the small time shooter, collectors anymore, only the big dealers with same high priced junk at every show, its drivin private sales underground pretty much...
how they figure a gunshow is a joke, more then 4 people, and 3 guns, is a gunshow...really. and say a guy sees a gun on your table, and wants to buy it at your home. ect,.. he cant, as the deal was started at a gunshow.
as for the punks that murdered the kids at school??they didnt even buy a gun at a show,,,they had a legal aged girl buy a shotgun, and she did the paperwork, the dealer broke no laws, the only law that was broke, was by her commiting a strawman sales.. and she did no time, and was never charged with any crime..they did however go after the show promoter, and the dealer that sold the shotgun..even though they broke no laws...none... J.D. Tanner couldnt even step foot in his own show for 2 years, and sold the control and rights to a lady he trusted, so the show would stay alive, until his death, when it was sold to the new owners..
i trully hope the NRA isnt sleeping on this one...really...
one of many reasons I quit watching network TV news, & most of the cable news shows too. It just gets my BP up too much. A lil spin on the news is 1 thing, but they shape & craft the news now instead of reporting it.
& Chuck, after I hear from you & guys like you, who in their own state put up with so much, I'm just dern glad that the Almighty let me be born in a small town in Missouri...........

admited, until a year ago, i really never payed much mind to the news , talk radio ect...now i find myself with Glenn Beck on everyday 9 to noon, ad Fox news on time to time..
some i dont agree with, most i do..though i like Glenn Beck, and dont agree with everything he says...i do like him..but think he,s a goof ball, heck even have his book on my table.
hows this....Ted Nugent pres, Chuck Norris VP.. thats a team that would scare the pants off the gun grabbers.
No insult, John, but I'm incredulous that it took you this long to discover that the media are lying pimps and whores. You didn't figure this out after the Dan Rather's fake "National Guard " memos in 2004? Or the fake blowing up of a GM pickup truck by ABC news in the 1990s? Or the fake story that a Koran was flushed down the toilet by U.S. troops in Guantanamo Bay?Or the fake coverage of John Kerry's "heroism" in Vietnam? Or the fake coverage of the Obama campaign that refused to disclose his Marxist sympathies or his anti-white racism?
I'm sure I'm forgetting a few examples here. But our mainstream press is only slightly less biased than Pravda or Tass was during the Cold War.
Read Bernard Goldberg's book on media bias sometime....
can't argue with anything much on what you said Mr X, agreed with some if not most,........... but my late cousin, Riddle, Norman R., served in the "Brown Water Navy" a coupla tours in Viet Nam, the Republic Of, patroling the Mekong and other rivers/waterways. Randy was USN, BUDS and had nothing but praise for the guys he served with there, bar none.
Can't say what or how Mr. Kerry did while he was there, because I wasn't there, & my cousin had passed before Mr. Kerry rose to prominence, so I can't ask him either.Respectfully, I don't believe that you can say either.
Agreed that most of the crap the media creates & reports as news is heavily fabricated & slanted sir.
