Were there any USGI M2 (right side, butt rearward) holsters made that were unmarked? I have one I purchased about 20 years ago at a military arms gun show that the seller said was WW II mfg. I kept the unmarked holster since it was in better condition than the other one I had made by Fink. I encountered a descent Textan holster at the Syracuse show last year that was selling for $200. The M2 seems rather hard to find around my area, and I guess is basically a reverted M1909 holster.

I've examined several M2s and up to now all of them were marked FINK or TEX TAN plus the 1942 date.

Those two certainly seem to be the most common, and I have never been able to confirm the unmarked holster. I suppose it is possible that it could be a post war commercially produced holster made prior to the 1980's.
