I apologize for asking this question...I am sure it's been asked several times. What powders are the same as WC844 and WC852?
Thanks,
Indy

Thanks that does help. I believe one is H335 and the other is BLC 2.

There were a number of different WC852 lots that came out on the market in the early 90's. Jeff Bartlet bought one 90,000 pound lot, Accurate Arms bought another. There were other lots, and I have data sheets for two. The burn rate on the lots is different, so you cannot use the same load data for all lots.

That being said, Accurate Arms called its powder AA2700. I am certain the original 90,000 pound lot they bought is long gone. So the powder they now are selling is new manufacture.

Do not attempt to copy any of the TM data for 308 or 30-06 cartridges. People quote loading data from one TM all the time. TM's are not reloading manuals and did not take into account the different burn rate between powder lots.

Are you looking for loading data with Jeff's WC852 for any particular cartridges?

The jugs of WC852 I have probably came from Jeff. There is a tag on the jug saying to use H380 data. By the way, I paid $60 for an 8-pound jug at the last Dallas Arms Collectors gun show. That was the last the seller had.
