A little off topic I have an M49 Observation Telescope made in GB

It is a basic M49 as used by USGI's but is slightly modified. Are these current in the British Army for snipers. I canot find any info. on current Brit. sniper gear.

U.S. arty spotting scope. Might be used by Brit snipers. It's really just a 20X spotting scope. Nothing really unusual or spectacular about it.
